A New Perspective on Artificial Intelligence in Clinical Decision-Making
The scientific conference “Management of Cardiac Patients in Dentistry: A Look at Artificial Intelligence in Clinical Decision-Making” was held on Thursday, November 19, at the Pardisan Hotel in Mashhad, with the presence of distinguished professors, physicians, and dentists.
This scientific event, organized by AnIran in collaboration with Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, aimed to explore the challenges and innovative methods for treating cardiac patients during dental procedures. The conference received significant attention from specialists in cardiology, anesthesia, and dentistry.
In her closing remarks, Dr. Mirali, founder of AnIran, highlighted the organization’s scientific mission to expand modern medical technologies and stated:
“This conference sought to assess the risk of treating cardiac patients in dental procedures using a data- and AI-based approach and to lay the groundwork for creating a shared intelligent knowledge base for cardiology and dental specialists.”
Key topics of the conference included the management of cardiac emergencies in dental settings, monitoring requirements for high-risk patients, and the use of oral and dental imaging data to predict cardiovascular diseases based on OPG images.
At the conclusion, Dr. Mirali thanked the esteemed scientific secretary, Dr. Arash Gholoubi, and the distinguished speakers of the conference. She also emphasized the importance of advancing artificial intelligence technologies in clinical decision-making and strengthening collaboration between the dental and cardiovascular communities to enhance patient safety.
