The Executive Secretary of the International Congress on Artificial Intelligence and Health Technologies in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Mashhad announced the event.
Dr. Fatemeh Sadat Mirali stated today in a press briefing that this congress will be held for the first time on September 17–18, 2025, at the Misagh Hotel in Mashhad. The event will bring together a group of researchers and health specialists to explore the transformative role of artificial intelligence in women’s health.
Referring to advances in medical technologies, she explained that artificial intelligence is ready to revolutionize diagnosis, treatment, and patient care in women’s health. This congress will provide a platform to discuss advanced AI applications—from early disease detection to personalized treatment plans—reshaping how healthcare professionals approach women’s and fetal health.
Mirali emphasized that during the congress, participants will gain insights into how AI has already made significant progress in areas such as robotic surgery, medical imaging, and patient monitoring. By leveraging AI-based tools, healthcare providers can enhance diagnostic accuracy, reduce risks, and improve outcomes for women.
The Executive Secretary noted that the congress highlights innovations in medical education and will demonstrate how AI supports the training of the next generation of healthcare professionals in specialized fields. Strengthening collaboration and promoting the integration of AI into clinical practice are also key goals of the congress. With a focus on the future of women’s health, the event will examine current applications and emerging trends in AI, providing valuable opportunities for learning, networking, and advancing the future of women’s healthcare.
Regarding the congress objectives, she stated: providing an overview of current advancements in obstetrics, gynecology, and infertility; exploring the role of AI and emerging technologies in improving diagnosis, treatment, and patient care; facilitating discussions among specialists on integrating new technologies into medical practice and education; increasing awareness of future directions in women’s health; and understanding the impact of technology on clinical interventions.
She highlighted the main themes of the congress, including: AI in the diagnosis, prediction, and treatment of women’s diseases; AI in medical imaging and data analysis for women’s cancers; the role of AI in women’s health, pregnancy, and safe childbirth; the Internet of Things in women’s health management; innovative technologies in medical education for women; and robotic surgical approaches in gynecology.
She also announced the specialized panels of the congress, including: AI in women’s disease diagnosis and screening, AI technologies and the future of robotic surgery in gynecology, innovations in medical education, IoT innovations for monitoring and managing women’s health, and AI-based medical image processing in obstetrics and gynecology. She expressed hope that this two-day congress will serve as a milestone in better connecting AI and women’s healthcare, creating a new transformation and a safer future for women’s health and childbirth in our beloved country.
